Attendance

Please be reminded that students must arrive at school by 7:55 AM each day to avoid being marked tardy. If a student arrives after 9:45 AM, they will be marked as absent unless proper documentation is provided.

 

On early release days, please note that attendance will be taken one hour earlier than usual.

 

If your child is going to be absent, please contact the attendance clerk at Monica.thompson@kellerisd.net or call the front office at  817-744-5300.

 

When a student reaches 5 unexcused tardies or 5 unexcused early dismissals within a 9- week period, administration may send out a Truancy Tribunal Warning letter.

When a student reaches 10 unexcused tardies or 10 early dismissals within a 9 -week period, administration may consult with their Student Engagement Specialist regarding the student's participation in Truancy Tribunal.
